As you head off to college this year, whether you are a new or returning student, you will have to be prepared to have the greatest chance at being successful. You will need a number of materials for your classes and basic materials to get you through.
You will need a scientific calculator for math and science classes. A basic calculator will get you through low level classes like 100 level math and science, but, a scientific calculator will be needed for any higher level classes you are taking, such as calculus and chemistry. Don’t skimp on these because they are invaluable.
Get a good supply of pens and pencils before you even head off to school. You are going to sit through endless lectures so you don’t need to run out of ink. Black and blue ink is all you need. With this you are going to need a good supply of college ruled notebooks. If you want to get a couple multi subject notebooks, that will work too. But, as you start to run out of these, just head to your college bookstore and you can buy new ones.
Get a laptop computer. You will need a computer for taking notes, writing papers and doing reports with charts and graphs. Get a good one that can fit into your backpack. You will need to have CLEAR too.
